Not surprised, since the 36' model that I was looking at jumped 20K in a matter of days, based on another RFD member. Prices are always subject to change, unfortunately.

My 2 cents.....$10k price increase is not a big deal on a phase 1 as it will go much higher in later phases.

Hello All,

Looking to get into a new development by Taunton and Anderson in Whitby ( Detached at 1.2M - 3300 SQ + Partial Finished Basement) . Primary criteria's are

1. Good Schools : Kids are 7 and 3 .
2. Room for Capital Appreciation .
3. Value Compared to other areas

We are currently in Markham ( Markham and Steeles ) . comparable New devemopment here is starting at 1.7M

I understand the Property taxes are high in Durham . I would like to see what people feel for # 1 & 2 above

Do you have the right streets? I'm not aware of any current developments there, it's already full.

I’ll assume they are referencing Lytton Park at Anderson and Dryden

We bought from them this summer and our closing is end of next year. We are already living in Whitby for about 14 years. Schools are great specially in "Rolling Acres" locality of whitby. Prices are continuously moving up, our house value in crease quite bit in last 4 years when market was under correction.

Anyone has the price list for the Homeward Hill Project? I saw the back to back towns, but was looking for the traditional towns or the regular single family homes

@aaron801 I would suggest doing a virtual appointment as I don't have any updated pricing.

FYI: they have 3 32' house opened up and a bunch of back to back towns and they are going to release more units come Jan 2021.

Wondering what are the prices and when is the release? I think it will be over 950K million for detached. I would apperciate if anyone have price list to post it when is available as website is indicating all coming soon.

Just got the pricelist from them!

Cheapest Town (Traditional) is 786K for Cornwall 1575 SQFT
Cheapest Semi is 950K for Campbell 2018 SQFT
Cheapest 30 Lot is 900K for Columbia 1249 SQFT
Average 30 Foot Lot is 1M for Ellison 1914 SQFT
Cheapest 36 Foot Lot is 1M for Fox 1249 SQFT
Average 36 Foot Lot is 1.1M for Cavern 1993SQFT

Yeah, it's crazy.

Fieldgate Seaton prices are crazy. My cousin bought 36 ft Towerhill home(model-windigo) 3 months ago for 1.05 million. Exactly same model is almost 1.15 million. Almost 100 thousand up. Ridiculous pricing by fieldgate..

Yes. I received it as well. It is very well higher than pervious phase build by aspen ridge. I scanned through their finishes and it seems the have all high end luxury such as 9 ft celling for both floors at some occasion is 10ft; hardwood, granite kitchen and quartz...and also lot size. Lot size of 30' house are close to 50m may be due to hydro corridor? why? Somehow I think price are crazy but other way i think it is okay when you added up those upgrades
