We have a tentative closing of Oct 2019 for Queens Common... thinking there will most likely be delays (I wouldn’t be mad about it haha)

It does appear (which can be backed up by a quick scan of Kijiji) that many of the flippers that were sucking up pre con in Bowmanville have now had to take possession. And they are now trying to rent them out. Rates are excellent. $2100mth for a brand new house. Not a bad situation if a family needs to rent. Get a new house trash it like many renters do all for $2100 a month. And considering condos are renting out there for $1500. Taking advantage of pre con book a house flippers that can’t sell is one of few times renters win.

Totally agree. There will be tons of these places throughout Durham. The only problem is if the would be landlords that are cash flow negative have to sell or go BK.
Renters get way more house for the money.
Another sign is the extra delayed closings. It simply doesn't take this long to build houses...unless you are purposely dragging things out.
There is no way builders will hire more or pay O/T. They are hoping prices pick up with more time so they can still sell units and don't have people walk away.
Sure signs of a broken RE market.

People have such great choices of builders in Durham, and some of you are buying Mattamy homes?!

I bought Andrin PH3 in Country Lane, I think the closing date is similar to PH2 (April 2019) but with much higher price ;-(.

I just received my Structure & Color selection appointment which is in the mid-January 2019.

I prefer to move in the summer, hopefully it won't get delayed into the winter again ;-)

Ours is ph2 with original closing date of June 2019 - so far no delay notice. I hope they do let us know before the three months.

We are ph1. We are delayed until mid-May 2019. Our exterior is bricked and windows are installed. We think we will close in May.

Mine is Andrin phase 2. Original closing date Apr 2019. This week i received email regards to delayed to Aug 2019. Last week I went for my color selection appointment.

My color selection appointment is the end of January 2019. Do you have any upgrade price list I can use as a reference(e.g hardwood floor, counter top etc.)?

Get your wishlist password from Andrin Designhaus and then you will be able to find out price for the upgrades.
