[GTA] Halton Region Developments Mega Thread?

Hey everyone - posting to see if there's already a thread for the Halton region/West End like there is for Durham (East). Lots of new developments in that area and would be great to be able to share information as closing dates approach later this year and in 2022 and beyond.

I'm currently looking for Design Studio price lsits/estimated for Great Gulf in Halton.

Going to get this started! Anyone else moving to Great Gulf Milton Vilage over by Tremaine/Britannia? Moving dates are next summer/fall.

Which area is this on the map? And is there any Go train nearby? Any new semis/towns there?

Yes, it is launching soon (Aug 18). There is a lot demand for the project based on what I hear from the builder.

any mention of price ranges or if they work with realtors? I believe they're currently advertising that it'll be from the high 400s. I know somewhat close to the area Mattamy completed a project, similar low-rise and current resale is about ~510k for 1+1s and 650k for 2B. Feel like resale may be better

Millhouse Condos were 1BD $563 for 543 sq ft, 1BD + den $587k for 587 sq ft

So I would guess in the range of $1100+ for smaller units and $1000 for larger 2BD+ units

Yes they are working with realtors and correct on price range. Resale will usually be better if you are able to close now rather than wait a few years.

mv1condos closed taking worksheets. I decided not to get it. a 2B floor plan I was interested in was going for 680k when resale 2B similar going for 600-615k right now ..........

Personally I would rather buy in Oakville at that price, may assignment condo available in Oakville for $1000/sq ft.
But this is my personal bias.

We have bought a semi in phase 1 with great gulf milton village as well! Our closing is July this year. Wondering if anyone interested in creating a WhatsApp group to share experience with builder?

I have a friend (yes actual friend not me haha) that purchased a house near @home12345 the Mattamy ones at Britannia and Tremaine, they don't use the board here so figured I'd ask if there is a whatsapp group for it since they are wanting more info from other owners etc

What was the cost? Milton village just sent me a price list, 2 story freehold townhouse, end unit, 1.45 mil

Milton village semis phase one were in late 2020 between $850-$900k ish. Obviously a bargain considering the market today. At 1.45base for an inside unit small freehold, let’s see if they sell out. Demand is crazy

Yea that’s right. Phase 2 detached in nov 2021 were 1.2m-1.5 for 31 and 36 I believe. Did anyone purchase detached in phase 2?
