HACK ETF or GIC??

Thinking of buying HACK given the current drop in market.

Got US cash from company stock sale, want to invest in a growth sector. I though it would be a good idea to diversify my US holdings awsy from my employer.

Either in TFSA or non registered. Anyone think sector plays are just a bad idea with current volatility?

I see banks offering up to 3% on US deposits, as per ratehub.

A year ago i would not even consider staying in cash, but now....

Having only started investing this decade, l find this year especially hard to make decisions.

dunno ... it could drop back to $22 or go back up to $40+

I'd say its basically speculative like most anything else in the market

if you are OK with risk, then yes, otherwise GIC

someone today on another thread posted they are buying SPYG , maybe that would be a better speculative buy
