Hampton Bay 11in LED Flush Mount Light

Hey guys, I recently purchased this Hampton Bay Flush Mount LED light, but when I installed it and tried it, the light was not bright at all.

The box says 1000 lumens, and I have the setting on daylight white - however when I have all the lights off at night and only this light fixture is on, it's as bright as a dark alleyway.

Is the LED light broken? The box also said that it was dimmable, so I'm also wondering how I could adjust the brightness (I have this wired to a 2way switch only).

I'm going to try the other one, but thought I'd ask if there was any solution before having to labourously swap it with it's brother that was in the same box.

Dimmable means you need a dimmer switch ... then you will be able to use max lighting

Just an update. I tried the second one that came in the box and that worked. It appears that the first one I tried was actually faulty.

For anyone wondering, LED lights don't take time to be bright, they may delay for a fraction of a second but once you hit the switch the light should turn on almost immediately.

Thanks.
