Probably their weakest "promotion" yet as most if not all these items were already 1.99 or even a bit less before this promo. The 4 donuts for instance are normally 1.89 or even less (Might be 1.69).

The hot dog might be the only thing there that wasn't 1.99 or lower prior to this and I'm only saying this as I've never bought one from there so I don't know the regular price.

My nearest Harvey's in BC has 4 donuts for $1.69 (counter girl didn't know wtf the $1.99 is about) for at least the last few months and show the hot dog on the menu and other literature, but don't offer and never have offered the hot dog. They also don't have the shakes... :(

Tried the pickles today. Better than the few times I've tried them in the pub, where pub pickles are soft and the Harvey's was crunchy still.

The Jr Burger, Apple pies (2 of them), and donuts are regular $1.99. The rest range from $2.49 - $2.99.

Tried the Jr Burger, Hot Dog, and apple pies yesterday. Hot dog and burger is not bad, but I think McD pies is a better deal though.

A Place to Stand
Cannot believe how the quality of Harvey's has plummeted in recent years. Tried it a couple months ago after not having it for some time, and could not believe how bad it was. Was forced to have it again recently in a small town where little else was available and found it almost inedible. The patties are at least half the size they used to be, dry and leathery, the toppings non existent, and the fries just tasteless and awful. Back in my day, Harvey's was the place you went to when you wanted a burger that was as close to a good home-style burger as you could get at a fast food chain. I cannot believe how far it had fallen. So back I go to steering clear of this place. Cannot see a reason for ever going there again.

Burger must have shredded lettuce imo. And tbh all the burger places that don't have shredded lettuce are all horrible from my experience

I know, all those discount items the chains are hawking nowadays are not worth their discount price :(

I had the same experience with pizza pizza, didn't have it for the better part of 10 years, its terrible. Debasing products to improve profit screws consumers :(
In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburders eat people

The $1.99 Junior burger is a good bet for a snack, or a cheap lunch if you order 2. Just had one.

Funny enough, I recently tried the Harvey's Angus burger because of a coupon I received in the mail (and a bud of mine said that Harvey's Angus burger was pretty good).

Not very good at all..as others said, the patty was leathery and dry...and the lettuce was limp and wilted...

I prefer McD's Angus burger if I am really in a pinch..at least with McD's, you can get fanicer toppings on it..like carmelized onions..and shredded lettuce

Remember, $4 or less in Ontario means you pay less tax.
Order two items, then order a third separately and the total price will be cheaper.
(ie $1.99 + $1.99 plus 5% tax, pay for that, then order the third item for $1.99 + 5% tax instead of paying $1.99 x3 + 13% tax)

*The total comes to $6.30 vs $6.75...approximately.
