I get rid of all my scene points by redeeming gas card.astroboy100 wrote: ↑ Can I order the 2 for $6 at the restaurant and use my scene points, or is it just via mobile app?... Trying to get rid of my useless scene points.
I know it does not worth as much as movie tickets from the old days, but I need to use up the points before Cineplex go under.
We have the same idea.
Ok. I need to do the same.

Phew so it's not just me! I got some burgs last year on a deal for the first time in decades and oh my it left me questioning how Harvey's is still in business. Every other fast food place's burger patty tastes and feels like a real beef burger; Harvey's reminded me of cheap frozen hockey pucks off the grill. Considering there are FIVE GUYS all over the place, I don't even understand how any fast food burger joints can compete! But this is a good deal... and I'll probably go for it and regret being too full again.

I've only been to one Five Guys but their burger wasn't as good as a Harvey's Angus burger. Their seating was horrible (right beside the counter). Teenage girly-band bubble gum music blasting away while we're eating. Haven't been back. They were more expensive than what I can get with a Harvey's coupon. Maybe they need Six or Seven Guys. Hopefully for them they're not all like that. If you are a burger connoisseur why would you even be bothering with the 2 for $6 cheapie burgers anyway? Angus or bust! Angus Meal Deal is $7.79 with coupon.polish_jr333 wrote: ↑ Considering there are FIVE GUYS all over the place, I don't even understand how any fast food burger joints can compete! I like Five Guys too, but they are a fair bit more expensive than the Harvey's/BK/McD's/Wendy's of the world. They compete more with more premium chains like Hero Burger and South St Burger Co.polish_jr333 wrote: ↑ Phew so it's not just me! The Angus burger looks and tastes like Gaines Burgers. I don't know how anybody can eat one and enjoy it.
And I also don't understand the poster who stopped going to Harvey's 'when the "Beef pattie" included fillers.' Harvey's burgers have always been frozen fat & filler pucks. They have maintained the same consistency and taste for my near-50 years as a patron.
I wouldn't put a Harvey's burger up against any of the premium (read: $$$) burger establishments, but if you want that taste, there's only one restaurant to visit. The 2/$6 fills that hole once every few months, then I can go back to eating a better product.

Everyone says FIVE GUYS is more expensive... sure, but really? A little burger with cheese is about 7 bucks, fries are 3, and a drink is 2.50. Keep in mind the quality of their food compared to massive fast food chains and the insane amount of fries you get overflowing from the container into your bag (which I've learned they do on purpose). A Quarter Pounder with cheese meal at McDick's is $9.80. Sorry, I won't compare Harvey's since they don't even use 100% beef and I can't find their prices online atm.
I'd much rather toss another toonie at my lunch and get those sweet bag fries and a real burger made with real ingredients over the science experiments that are the big chains' offerings (I still most fast food; even Arby's!). Oh and before/after covid you can always fill up on free peanuts while you wait for your order. At regular price/regular menu, FIVE GUYS has everyone beat on value except maybe BK but quality is... well it's BK.

Harveys take out last night for our family. We are big fans of dinnng in.
Take out is horrible 2 times in a row.
4 originals, all burnt. Like hockey pucks. Ordered 2 for 4 Buffalo jr burger and they were both hard. No taste to them at all.
Bad night I understand.
This was twice and we are out.

No argument that you get more food at Five Guys, but you do pay more for a meal there. And the average person can only eat so much in one sitting for your typical lunch. None of my girlfriends could ever eat a full meal at Five Guys. The fries inevitably got shared.polish_jr333 wrote: ↑ Everyone says FIVE GUYS is more expensive... sure, but really? Case and point: Split one fries and you're now around 11 bucks for a meal. Again, how am I paying that much more than McDick's? Value menu ok, but Quarter Pounder with cheese vs a Five Guys little Cheeseburger is a good comparison. Five Guys is maybe a dollar more but quality is leaps and bounds.

When you are playing the app you win during the game, it prompts you to answer a math question and then gives you the code to use right on the website when checking out.
Too bad I can’t trade this towards a new XBox haha! At least ill have a slick winter coat now.
