Has anyone with a Scotiabank Gold Amex been able to add it to their PayPal?
Apologies if there is a Scotiabank or Gold Amex thread already here, but I was not able to find one, I'm glad to move or delete if inappropriate.
But yes, question in the title. I cannot do this and have called both PayPal and Scotiabank and neither can help, the card number just is not accepted for some reason. It's especially a bummer because I do many USD purchases on PayPal and one of the Gold Amex perks is zero FX markup. I'm holding onto it over the Cobalt because as a Scotia employee I'm offered 50% off annual fee, which moves the Gold as the pretty clear winner in my situation.
Just wondering whether this is a universal thing between the Gold Amex and PayPal, and if anyone knows why it might be.
