Has anyone tried the new store yet.

I wonder if their prices are as high as T&T for the items that are not on sale.
The City Square location is the old Safeway store. And the one on W Broadway, right across from McD, looks very small.

If the prices are competitive with Foody World, I wouldn't mind shopping there.

I went yesterday and the prices are fine. I'd prefer to shop there rather than Triple A or Red Apple since it's newer and a little more specialized

Appreciated of your feedback. Is the store as large as a typical Safeway? Do they have weekly online flyers we can check? I work nearby. Perhaps I can make a trip there after work. Guess I should expect a line up just like everywhere else. But is it a long line?

Haven't been the new location yet (I live near Brentwood). But I am a frequent shopper at their original location at city centre. Love their natural and organic selection, I tout it as the Chinese "whole foods". The prices aren't foody world cheap, but their products aren't cheap quality either. I find on some items, especially meats, it's priced more competitively than T&T. I often buy the ground pork and it's on par in quality with small niche butchers. Also, they've been practicing good pandemic prevention protocols since early March. Can't wait to visit this location!
