Well, the article you linked is kind of gimicky as they have chosen to compare their account to the weakest HISA's out there - kind of deceptive to cherry-pick like that.

They don't even rank on the following chart which is what many people in this forum use for comparing HISA's.

The gimmick is that they are not doing a proper comparison, hand-picking low interest accounts. The TD ePremium Savings Account, for example, has the same interest rate but there is a $10,000 minimum.
