Its ugly, it would sit in my basement unused for the rest of my life. I could buy 19 bottles of windshield washer fluid (from the shoppers drug mart hot deal) which has much more utility

its not a threat, i have no use for that chandelier so i have no need to buy it despite its low cost

I was given a ceiling fan presumably from the 1980s my folks bought, they purchased it for probably well under $20 which was an amazing price at the time, and could not bring themselves to get rid of it despite the fact they never needed to install it in the many places they lived since then, it was horribly dated and very inefficient by todays energy star standards. I donated it to the salvation army.
30+ years of appreciation in an index fund would have had a lot more marginal utility
