Somehow i don't think these bulbs have more processing power then the Apollo 11
They do however produce light far more efficiently :D

Wrong coupon, but LED is $3 off as well. By my math it should be .97 plus tax...or did I miss something?

Depends, usually they tax then subtract the 3$. So a 4$ bulb comes to around 1.50$ after discounts.

The newer Philips LED bulb is $4.97 (regular price) on sale too. Worth the extra $1 if you need extra energy savings (8.5W vs 10.5W), don't like the weird shape, or don't need dimming.

Low quality bulb. If you're happy with whatever then you'll do fine.

I think only Home Depot sells Philips light bulbs...maybe Amazon too. From Lowe's, you can get GE or Sylvania

This is Philips LED - and should NOT be confused with a Dollar store LED. Philips is a global leader in lighting.

Are you sure you're not smoking anything?

I generally agree with you, but not for this particular SlimType model.

See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDp3fVN_hZI Go to about 0'35"

I can imagine the dark stripe area can be annoying.

Also, for those who does not need the dimmable, go for the 8W/8.5W model. No reason to pay for the extra 2W.
