Heath care workers must wear masks while on duty

This was announced today.

Asking for a "friend".

I don't work in Health care, but someone I care about does.
She says that wearing the masks irritate the bridge of her nose and behind her ears.
Is there anything she can do to stop the irritation, without harming the seal to the skin?
She has to wear the masks that they provide.

Can she apply some barrier cream to the parts that are getting irritated?

Regarding behind the ears, there is a headband with hooks around the ears area for the loops.
