For new HH wearers, make sure you wash it with Nikswash or whatever that thing is called when washing your waterproof garments. I made the mistake of using normal detergent and it wrecked my HH. Solid brand nonetheless but wish I did my research prior to cleaning it.

Depends if it has hardshell or softshell (different nikswash). I have a HH ski jacket thats hardshell with puffer lined and yes, I needed to use Nikswash. For my first HH jacket, I thought the sales reps were just...speaking from their butt and I didnt want to buy the stupid wash but then after the incident, I swear by it for any waterproof jacket.
