Help with figuring out how much of a deposit I should ask for.

I have some party supplies I’d like to start renting out. I’d like some help with figuring out how much of a deposit to ask for.

For instance, I paid 180$ for a cake stand, and if I rent it out for 50$, how much of a deposit do I ask for?
