Help! Need ideas on repairing cracked vinyl faux leather arm rest of a chair
I have a manager's chair with a hard vinyl / faux leather arm rest (I think it is hard vinyl). A small patch of the vinyl / faux leather cracked and fell out. The patch is from the "rounded" surface from the front end of the arm rest.
I am trying to find a way to "glue" the patch back into the hole on the arm rest left by the patch. I tried epoxy glue and crazy glue, but they don't hold at all. I am now researching on using vinyl faux leather repair kits such as those sold in Canadian Tire, but I am not sure if this is the correct advice.
Does anyone have a better suggestion? My repair need is different from the typical repair of a torn or ripped piece of pliable leather from a chair. Thus, I am having trouble finding the proper resources online (like YouTube) on how to repair this myself.
Any tips will be much appreciated!
