Help needed HP Stream 7 tablet

I bought this tablet with free $25 and office 365 subscription. I haven't activated them yet. I am giving it to someone else after refreshing everything.
I need help on following -

1. How can new owner activate gift card and office subscription on this?
2. I did factory reset. Will it erase all my information?
