Help With Picking An Outfit For Going Job Hunting In Canada's Cold

Hey everyone. I'm going to be going job hunting soon at some local retail joints and need help.

It's wintertime and I need something that'll keep me warm. I was thinking of wearing a pair of casual slim leg khaki chinos and a plaid shirt that has the print of the link below (imagine it without the hood).

As far as the shoes I have these boots

I am 6 feet, with curly brown short tapered hair, olive skin and brown/ copper rectangle glasses. I'm also considering getting new glasses as it's time for me to upgrade my perscription. I really want something with more personality! I wear some very boring, conservative frames but I want some trendy and fun.

I have an inverted triangle face shape. Yes or no? Recommendations?

I usually wear a military jacket with a hoodie incorporated.Jacket looks like this (imagine it with a grey hoodie)

Is this an okay look or should I maybe invest in a dress shirt? Cardigan? Sweater? Trench coat? I would prefer not to spend too much money and to have something that can also be used in my day to day life. All advice and recommendations are greatly appreciated!

PS: I don't know if I can ask for hair advice on fashion but my hair is short, brown and curly and I really don't know what to do with it. I want some hair with personality now and am considering getting my hair chemically treated to loosen the curls (texturizer, anyone?)Any product recommendations? My hair texture resembles Bob Dylan's haha

I want it more loose and wavy like this

Any product recommendations? I want a permanent solution. Can a hairdresser achieve this. Thanks again!

need more info on what kind of job and what the job description.

although I think most people here are probably thinking that it has a little more to do with experience and personality than what you dress.

I'm applying for a number of retail positions: sales accosiate, production, etc. Mainly restaurant chains, clothing stores, electronics stores, etc. I was just wondering what would look best during the wintertime too. There is a lot on what to wear when the weathers right but I don't know what to wear now? I wrote in the original post about what I was going to wear and any tips, recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
