Help please - Toyota Camry Glass Replacement :)

Hello guys,

It was unfortunate that someone broke my driver side window yesterday (I have 2007 Toyota Camry). I heard that the cost to replace this window is actually lower than deductible (I have expensive deductible of $500 since I live in BC). Any idea how much it would cost me if I were to pay out of my own pocket?

Your response is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure the cost but if you go to a car glass place, tell them it is not going through insurance, they will lower the price. I had to replace 2 windshields this summer and the first question when I asked for a quote was "are you doing it through your insurance?"
My deductable was also $500 so it made more sense to pay out of pocket.

Thanks for the response Alex, seems like I can get it cheaper, but around $280. Looked at the price of the window in ebay and apparently it's quite cheap $65-$100.

For those who are looking to fix their Camry driver side glass in GVA, I did it with Bronco Glass in Imperial and got a $280 cash deal with them (outside of ICBC).
