I agree. Last minute in the old days meant something. Now not even close.

I have a data point, but not sure how beneficial it is:

I looked at AI pricing to DR 2w ago for end of Nov/early Dec travel. A week later, I looked again and prices went up, but only slightly. I looked again today and prices have dropped lower than the initial price that I seen. If I were to guess, I see a 21d window where prices were considered last minute. Has anyone booked an AI so close before to comment on my theory?

My data points aren’t helping. Prices aren’t changing closer to departure date and I’ve been eyeing 10 resorts everyday for dec 7th travel.

Last min deals do not exist. Thread shutdown!!

Sometimes I’ve seen it on trip central but it’s rare. It’s usually $50 for park n fly.

I've gotten free parking from selloffvacations but that was 2 years ago. Haven't seen it since.

The latest trip I went on in October escapes.ca had the best promo with a $100 visa card.

Thanks, found out that I can get $50 back through them! I still haven’t booked yet. Planning to travel this Saturday!

Booked my AI last night for dec 8th travel. I got a good deal by waiting until inventory ran low. We had about 3-4 resorts in mind so whichever fit the bill, we pulled the trigger.

Where: ocean el faro from yow
Who: 2 + infant
Cost(total): $2091

Booked on escapes.ca for the $25 visa gift.

Punta? That's a really great price on a 5 star. Have fun! I literally just spent the $100 gc at Walmart which triggered me to check this thread lol.

surprised you don't have priceline.ca listed in the first post. I haven't gotten some really good deals there.

on a side note: looking for *cheap* last minute vacation from Dec 25th (Christmas day!) to 29th. Not found anything cheap yet.
