Here's my comment

Mr Disco is over-editing/censoring. Spyware is a legit concern when it comes to devices, why he deletes warnings about certain TV manufactures from containing spyware or back doors should be discussed as a legit issue with their products.

No one said spyware isn't a legitimate concern. We have rules on political content and the moderator was simply enforcing that. The thread in question was completely derailed from the deal to the point where finding any information on the deal itself was extremely difficult.

As mentioned in the deletion notice, we do allow for these types of discussions in the PRC forum. If you'd like to start up a discussion on that topic, you're most than welcome to do so there.

It's unfortunately because a common theme. You want to talk about wearable watch, people start to mention certain government is monitoring you. Same for phone, tv....

Even something like this get derailed
