Higher Job Title vs Larger Organization

Is it better for someone in their late 20's to work for a larger organization or take a leadership role with a small company?

If you want to work for the small company long-term, then that.

Otherwise, Super Vice-President of Joe's Lemonade Stand isn't going to do much to impress anyone at those big companies.

At that young age, a leadership role with a smaller company will be much more rewarding.

Management skill is transferable to large corporation.
Gaining a management position through promotions within a large corporation takes time.

I chose large corporation before over management in small company.. i regret it now... although non-management role is super easy with alot less stress.

Small companoes usually have better benefits vs large corporations (the cost of insurance vs. Large corporation's need to lower cost)

"Management" is just a title, what matters the responsibilities you have.
