Just talked to Koodo loyalty, can’t be applied on the phone to existing customer. Advised me to cancel the line and activate a new line but I’ll loose my number lol

The Mobile Shop is offering new BYOD activations on Koodo with the $60/mo 10GB plan in ONTARIO. Unlimited Canada-Wide Calling, Call Display, Voicemail 10, Call Forwarding, Call Conferencing, Easy Roam.

Edit: NEW Activations only.

Yes! Don't forget $25 referral, you will need that to offset $15 SIM card price.

Since Rogers and Fido want to be so strict about being a prepaid to get this, there is now a better option with Koodo, no hoops required:
The Mobile Shop is offering new BYOD activations on Koodo with the $60/mo 10GB plan in ONTARIO. Unlimited Canada-Wide Calling, Call Display, Voicemail 10, Call Forwarding, Call Conferencing, Easy Roam.

Edit: NEW Activations only.

Over the phone, got a regular rep first and then had him transfer to customer relations.

What are the differences between Telus & Koodo? I want to get off my Rogers account because their network is absolutely terrible and would like to switch to Telus, but how is Koodo? No speed throttling compared to Telus?

I am hoping Telus offers this plan

Ok, so you just mentioned the big data plan from Freedom mobile (and not the migration plan), but they ended up giving you the $50 for 6gb?

Not this again....

As an existing koodo customer, I had to fight my way to grab one of those black friday plans couple years back. Just tried to get this plan in-store and through facebook messenger and they won't allow me to switch my current plan.

Much less hassle for me to jump ship
