Home Air Purification System Recommendation.

Hello,

I have been getting a lot of allergies from my new place and thinking of installing an air purification system. I have looked up some portable ones with HEPA filters, as well as system that will work for the entire home.

I will soon have my air ducts cleaned as well.

What are your experiences with using an air purification system in your home?

You might want to replace your carpets and paint all of your walls with low VOC paint.
Might be worth testing for mould too.
Air purification will only work well if the place is well sealed, but then you need ERV to ventilate the place.

If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Sounds like bad news, maybe mold and fungus. Is it a older houses that has been renovated? Wet basement?

Thanks for the input. It's a newly built home...I lived here for about 6 months without problems...only started two weeks ago...

You know, it is allergy season.
Book an appointment, through your family doctor, to see see an allergy specialist.
Find out what you are allergic to.

You can take allergic medicines, steer clear of what you are allergic to, and get a true HEPA filter.
Not all HEPA filters are "true" HEPA filters.

It's peak allergy season,, plenty of us are suffering. Don't waste your money on these things. If anything get a decent hepa filter machine for your bedroom , run it 24/7 and keep the door and window closed. Everytime someone enters or leaves your house allergens are getting in so it's pretty much impossible to keep them out .
