Home Alarm acting up

Hi All, I have a DSC system that is currently not being monitored and recently started having one wireless sensor constantly set off the alarm even when it was unarmed (chime would go off saying fault line 10). The door is never opened, even checked outside with no footprints in the snow to see if someone was messing around with it but nothing.

I replaced the Lithium 123 battery in the Honeywell 5816 wireless sensor but still had the same deal happening with it constantly going off. I removed the magnetic sensor from the door just to keep the system quiet for the night and now the alarm doesn't seem to recognize the sensor. Tried both old and new batteries, moved the sensor infront of the key pad, tried to readjust the tamper trigger inside the sensor to see if it wasn't making contact but nothing seems to be working.

So already tried a new battery, not sure if the wireless sensor itself is bad and needs to be replaced or if it needs to be recoded to the alarm itself.

This is the sensor: https://www.resideo.com/us/en/pro/produ ... ifications

You sure you have a DSC system? Honeywell Lyric sensors don't work with DSC wireless systems, unless you have a wireless translator. If you do, perhaps the translator is the problem.

That’s not dsc.

I had like 2 customers with Honeywell panels back in the day. I’m useless on them.
