[Home Depot] $146 Ryobi 40v trimmer and blower combo with 4AH battery

I was looking to buy a spare 4AH battery @$189 to boost my Ryobi 40v arsenal operational time and noticed this combo kit for $146 with same battery, charger, blower and trimmer. I will be selling the bare tools!! Free ship to home or store!

When was this one last posted? I'm disappointed, I've been waiting for it to drop in price. The HD near me still has it (or some newer model equivalent?) for ~$230 in store.

I was able to get it twice, it aprears about two to three weeks apart. Need to check daily, usually sold out in two days. This time they only had less then 40 on stock. This item is online only, stores don't carry it. For the price, this combo with 4amp battery is a steal.

which one you guys will keep?
I think obvious choice is this 40v kit, cheaper at 146$ and more powerful, right?
I went with the 18V as there is much larger selection of tools. The 40V lineup is mostly garden tools. Nothing wrong with either choice depending on your needs.

exactly what I was thinking too. I can also benefit having an extra 18v 4ah batteries on few tools I own already

VS more power from the 40V tools

More phantom stock at the Thunder Bay store. No wonder this place has a 2.5/5 rating online. No place for 13" on the shelf and nothing in clearance, so where did the items go? Still have Ego items on the shelf that should have been blown out last year when they dumped that line. I hate getting up early to find...nothing...

My neighbor bought a Ryobi trimmer/blower combo. The trimmer head would jam up and not feed. Not sure if all Ryobi trimmer design are the same but that one was not designed well. On top of that it was difficult to spool the line.

I have one and I definitely don't have this issue. Works like a charm. The blower is nice too. For some reason I wish it was even stronger but for day to day use its great

Ugh, I checked every morning and apparently they stocked it at night! Added a Subscribe to this thread to hopefully catch it when it comes back in. I really just want the 4ah battery and trimmer - extra battery for the lawn mower and then occasional use of the trimmer when needed.

I was at HD and happen to come across a Dewalt XR 20v trimmer and blower + battery and charger combo 50% off for $150, customer return for missing 2 bolts for trimmer. Sold the trimmer for $150, kept the battery and blower.

Have the Dewalt 20v ecosystem, been eyeing the blower, packs a punch nicely tucks away upright.

Thank you so much! Had an error twice when I tried to get it, but eventually worked.
