Mine ticks like crazy, gotta exchange it.
This unit have a timer, couple of temps selection but only medium and high heat setting.
The analog knob version have low/mid/hi setting, less cycling/gentler heat?

Might be the quality of the metal which means it could be the reason why they are getting rid of it.

Ticks are just the sound of the metal growing or shrinking due to temperatures.

26.98 is the digital version

Dang I thought I had a good deal paying 30 for the analog one, it was 45 minus 15$ for the inconveniences because they were doing inventory so I had to wait an extra day to pick it up

But analog one have very low stock levels
