Since it’s 10x10 ft(under 108sqft) so you don’t need to worry about permit issue

Is this on sale or regular price? What's the "hot deal" here, that you don't need a permit?

And the store location where you get that price
In my opinion, every intervention in RFD deserve a "thanks". Thanks given until now: more than 100,000

Seems like decent price compared to US though... $1900 USD there.

off topic,
when one said it doesn't need permit under a certain size.
If I wanted a larger area and get a couple and put them side by side, do I need permit to do that?

If to go strictly by the book, the gazebo height exceeds 2.5m which means it is required to set it back from property line by the height distance ( Vaughan by-law) . Which means neighbours still can complain if you do not.

No. Unless they were physically adjoined, like with a door going between them, you could have ten of them depending on the size of your lot, setback regulations etc, and eyesore/trailer trash/redneck regulations. Just make sure they do not share a common foundation.
Also, some municipalities allow up to 144 sq ft (12x12) without a permit. Some municipalities allow only one shed without a permit for obvious reasons.

My buddy has one of these over his hot tub at the cottage, very well constructed.
You'll need 3 men with ladders to put the roof on.

Most gazebos have been out of stock everywhere, including this one. Good luck.

So many things wrong with this thread ...

No wonder it got moved from HOT DEALS section to the SHOPPING DISCUSSION FORUM

FIRST : This 10 x 10 Yardistry Gazebo is NOT ON SALE ... guessing that’s WHY it got moved

Ok so 10 x 10 isn’t a standard size that Costco stocks, but it’s not unheard of

Costco Canada stocks 2 other sizes
12 x 12 = $ 1899.99
12 x 14 = $ 2199.99

Both of these are Costco Canada REGULAR PRICES
Want a better price, watch for a Sale ... and hope there is stock

SECOND: AND MOST IMPORTANTLY ...

The whole statement about NO PERMIT NEEDED

Permits for these types of things are handled by Municipal Jurisdiction
There are over3500 municipalities in Canada **
Anyone planning to buy / erect a gazebo on their property needs to consult their local bylaws

Bylaws in regards to gazebos May include
* Rules on Size / footprint
* Rules on Size / height
* Rules on location / set backs
* Rules on materials
* Rules on footings etc

THIRD : again speaks to the SECOND PROBLEM ... WHERE

OP your original thread has no info on where you found this gazebo

** FYI .... OP the RFD Website is Canadawide with MILLIONS of Members
From NFLD to BC ... and Point Pelee to Iqualuit (and beyond, one guy even posts from Alert )
So just cuz you find something works where you are
Doesn’t mean it works exactly the same everywhere else for all 35+ Million Cdns

PS ... Do yourself a favour ... put a location into your RFD PROFILE
Check it out ... everyone else in this thread has this info for a reason!
