[Home Depot] [$199] Dewalt Free Tool with 20V MAX XR 5AH Batter Starter Kit

This is definitely NOT molten hot, but if you already have a dewalt drill/driver kit, might be something for you.
Main reason for me buying this is because the drill/driver kits that I have came with 1.3 Ah 20V batteries, which don't last too long (and I'm just a casual person working around my own home).
So I wanted to get a bigger battery already, plus a new tool is always welcome, so this deal is a no brainer for me.

Please note, if you are JUST LOOKING FOR BATTERY, then this is not the cheapest option.
Amazon Link Here is $159 for two 5Ah batteries. (No extra charger or bag)

I got a cordless jig saw because that is what I think would benefit me the most right now.

Keep in mind those bare tool prices are pretty inflated and the battery kit I see as low as 121 before. For instance the Jig Saw I think I paid at most 129 for bare tool. So maybe this would save you a few bucks overall.

I'm curious to know the pro-rated values at least on the battery kit for return.

Too bad it is only 150ft-lbs, otherwise would be a great deal!

In the previous thread when this was offered a few of us were able to price match this starter kit and still get the free tool. I got the jig saw and the kit for around $160 I think. It' YMMV though.

Who did you price match the starter kit with? Can't seem to find anyone under 199.

I have a few of these tools and some others that aren't listed here for the 20V batteries. The only one that has let me down is the circular saw. It is too underpowered and I would avoid it

Too bad they don't have the double battery in this deal.

Went to HD today. The flyer in-store shows that in order to get a free tool the value must be under $179. I wanted the Jigsaw, but it's listed at $229. Went to customer service with the Jigsaw and Battery kit and showed the manager the jigsaw listed from Amazon.ca for $129 and he was willing to PM it, allowing me to use it towards the free tool. I also then PM'd the battery kit from Blackrockauto for $158. Total was $178.xx tax in. Gerald from Curity HD was amazing and didn't bat an eye at the price match. He just looked up everything online on the store computer and off he went in processing the order.
