[Home Depot] 2-inch Drywall Screws - 3500 pcs

Price error? 500 pcs is $24.42

Needed some drywall 2-inch drywall screws to re-wrap a post with another layer of drywall, was going to buy 100pcs @ $6.22, but noticed 3500 pcs for $11.20.
Not sure what I am going to do with all these screws.

Thanks for the post. These are the only ones I can use in my older house to match my existing wall thickness which has 7/8" drywall+plaster.

darn - too bad the 1 1/4" are not the same price... i think these are too long for regular drywall installation.

Good for second/double-layer drywall (e.g. demising walls, sound deadening, etc.)

Thanks OP, got 2 at South Keys. Scanned at normal price but cashier was able to match app price
Both cashier and manager (for override) said they've never seen it at this price so definately an error.

Looks like it's Ontario only. Shows up at 47.20$ when you select a Quebec store on the site.

Thanks for the hot deal!
Scans at $67. Cashier had to get supervisor to override. Supervisor had to get store manager to override. I use "had" loosely as they claim its their policy. Whole process took ~15min. You'll have to decide if its worth the hassle.

this length for people who wants to put a new layer of dry wall on top of an old drywall without ripping out.

Not really. In any other scenarios they'll likely just break.
