[Home Depot] 21" Troy bilt gas lawnmower (Honda motor) $248 YMMV

Seen at Homedepot Langley and not sure if this will be on sale in other stores. 21" Troy built push lawnmower with a Honda motor. Box says 4 year warranty. Regular price is $448. Seems like a great deal for a namebrand lawnmower. Langley homedepot have at least 20 of these as of 1pm Friday. When I searched the product number on homedepot.ca it has a regular price of $396 and not $448 as is stated on the tag (not sure what's up with that).

When I looked on stocktrac Langley has way more of these than anyone around them. I wonder if they have this deal on to drop their stock down or if they brought a bunch in for this sale.

There is rumour about Toronto wants to ban anything with gas like gas mower gas blower…etc

If I was purchasing a new system I think I would definitely consider battery power specially with the cost of gas these days.

I bought the Craftsman mower with Honda engine for about $450 about 20 months ago at Lowes. Seems to look very similar to this one !

Incoming rights and freedoms outrage. But honestly a couple generations from now the kids aren’t gonna care about our norms when they are using electric everything.

Everything seems to be pointing to electricity as the answer to our energy needs. There will be a time when we wish we aren't at the mercy of the electric producer gods. Don't expect electric rates to be cheap with an extremely high demand in the future.


Great deal on the mower. Wish I could find it near me.

Well it's not like we're at the mercy of gas producer gods...

Between the two I prefer electricity. First, in my case, it's provincially owned. And at least there's is the possibility to produce it on my own (solar panel, wind, water turbine)...never seen anyone doing it's own gas, natural or propane gas...

I didn't buy this lawnmower, I just saw it at Homedepot Langley when I was picking up some lime. You could always just try and see what your cost would be for your store.

Just bought this in Langley. Called this morning and confirmed on the phone the price. Asked to hold one for me. They called back (super awesome associate by the way, super friendly) saying it was a misprint yesterday. 2 sets of lawnmowers but they put the same price on it. Now sells for 396.

I asked if they could honour it from yesterday price and even this morning 5 mins prior. Manager agreed.

Just mowed the back and it's an amazing machine!!! Thank you rfd!!!
