I bought this set at this price in May 2020. Good value and works great for weekend warriors like me.

I was disappointed with these. I bought about 4 packs and 3 clamps were slipping, any force to tighten them just made them slip loose (for clamp holding). I have loads of made in USA regular Besseys from woodworking stores and was surprised I had any issues at all let alone 3.
The one I talked to asked where I got them and I said HD. He said those were made in China and a lower grade than the regular USA professional line. Less quality and clamping ability. I didn't know, they do say made in China.
They send me out replacements, which is great but I don't use them for anything that needs a lot of clamping force. I should have gotten the regular ones at Busy Bee or somewhere.

just like other companies, Bessy puts their name on tons of crap.
I have a bench vise that I bought because of the name, bad choice as I hate it.
