What do you use these for at sizes less than 2.5"?

Any reason I would use this over my forstner bits? For anything bigger, I've got a circle cutter for.
I’ve used the smaller ones for drilling holes for locksets. Not much else really.

For Forstner vs hole saw, depends on the material. A Forstner on drywall would be a mess for example. And Forstner bits are more expensive - I’ve only used mine with the drill press on fancy shit like oak.

Mine has just shipped with UPS tracking. If you have some US location ship to, you can buy from homedepot.com, but you need to have $45 order for free delivery. You can buy 2 and sell one back in Canada if you have nothing to buy.

Used these on hardwood and have burned out one despite going slow.

The nut on the mandrel comes loose constantly. Pain in the rear and often times you don't notice it until you're halfway through the hole.

I've used this Bosch set as well as the one from Princess Auto, I would not use it for anything more than cutting drywall and maybe mdf cabinets.

I'll probably just have to watch out fro CrappyTire to put theirs on sale again. (Of course they were just on sale last week for $35 and $40. Should have pulled the trigger. )

I lucked out. I walked into the Burnaby homedepot and got the last Milwaukee hole dozer set for $48. Price was good but too bad it doesn't come with any sizes larger than 2 1/2".

I've used the hole dozers on heavy gauge sheet metal before and they cut fast. The crappy princess auto ones are useless and actually dangerous. They're so dull that it's really easy for the saw to catch and kick the drill hard.

Quick update. Went to pick up my set and wanted to used an GC I had instead of paying CC online. No issues the sales person did it for me and the set came up at $9.95 in store. Even better deal. Just my luck!
