[Home Depot] Chamberlain B970 Garage Door Opener with Battery Backup $299 PM Lowes @ $269

Was just surfing the home Depot site and came across this. it's not even on sale but Lowe's, Rona and Canadian Tire all have this item at $400+.

Was able to price match at rona but didnt apply for the 10%
I was able to pm at lowes for $269

They priced it the same price as B750 which is lower model

could this be a price error on the site? keep in mind this model comes with a back up battery unlike others

if anyone needs a new garage opener I think this is a good buy, it's one of Chamberlain 1+ hp openers

if you know of any better deals on garage openers feel free to post them down below

$299 was a reg price at HD, despite these units being north of $400 at other retailers. I've been scoping it out since last summer for my new build, but it was always OOS and then they ended up raising the price as well. Ended up going with the 750 in the end, but this is a good price for 1.25hp belt drive. I love the MyQ option and how quiet this is.

I have this, overkill for my garage.

I had to buy the 8ft kit so check that first as well

Rail extension kit is required if your garage is more than 7ft high

They should PM AND beat it by 10% as well. I believe that's their policy.

Update: just found this on their site "Our price match policy provides customers with the best value for quality products at a low price. We will match the price of our competitors, plus an additional 10 percent, in-store and online."

I was talking about the unit itself and how quiet it is.

I’ve had battery backup on my door for 10 years and only once got to show off that mine worked in a power outage. Even though nobody was around, I feel like they all were impressed.
This would seem to be a very good deal. The belt drive is quiet and to add smartphone control onto other systems puts you way over this price with the opener included.

Isn’t 269 roughly the 10% off the HD price of 299?

Does anyone know if we can apply one of those codes for $35 off AFTER the price match? I was able to get one while surfing the Lowe's site. That would make this deal hot
