[Home Depot] Commercial electric 40 inch LED selectable color light $23.98

Imagehttps://www.homedepot.ca/product/commer ... 1001171903

Shows 59.98$ online for some stores and 23.98$ for others. My local store had it for 59.98 online but marked in store at 23.98. It’s 55$ American on the .com site.
I grabbed a bunch for my under cabinet as they can be dimmed and run in a circuit and direct wired also color warmth switched at each light.Image

Think I could put these in a carport?

You could put them in a closet if you wanted to. You could mount one under your bed.

Would the light work on the ceiling of an open room where the elements have a little bit of access due to the wind (primarily snow).
Ie. Something like a carport.

Edit: Should work.
Damp Location: Locations protected from weather and not subject to
saturation with water or other liquids but subject to moderate degrees of
moisture. Examples of such locations include partially protected locations
under canopies, marquees, roofed open porches, and like locations, and
interior locations subject to moderated degrees of moisture, such as some
basements, some barns, and some cold storage buildings.

In Toronto stores, they all show $59.98. Would like to know if any store here actually have them at the lower price.

Looks like Brampton and Vaughan both have a few. Purchase for in store pickup? I know it's a bit of a drive but I guess it depends how much it will save you

It’s a new product which is odd to have 2 prices. Maybe call and have them scan one?

wondering if it'll work as a "drop light" in a warehouse with no actual ceilings...

Do they flicker at 60hz?

Easy test: wave your hand under it quickly. If you see your hand as a series of images (aka “frames”) instead of a continuous blur, then it’s flickering.

They wont flicker. LED lighting works with DC voltage which doesn't fluctuates or alternate.

They had 6 at the Argentia location. I picked up 2 and showed the picture OP posted. They matched it.

Dimmable, direct wire in series with many access points on the fixture, 3 colors of light to chose from, more robust solid design. Premium Samsung LED’s (not sure if the 14$ model has those.)

No they dont, just installed some under the cabinets. Also have the $15 shop lights and they don't flicker either.

I had some princess auto shop lights that flickered and made my garage door remotes not work when they were on.

Costco I think are 4600 lumens, these are much dimmer at 2600 lumens.
