[Home Depot] Cree A19 LED bulbs - $0.98-$1.49 (after energy rebate) [Caledonia, YMMV]

YMMV - The Home Depot @ Caledonia is clearing out their 6/9.5 w (40 / 60 w equiv) soft white Cree led bulbs.

The 6w is reduced to ~5.98 and the 9.5w is reduced to ~6.49 and you should be able to combine it with the save on energy coupons found at:
https://saveonenergy.ca/Consumer/Progra ... UPONS.aspx

Just to clarify - this is a manager's clearance - it is location specific, the website will not reflect the clearance price.

Location information:

CALEDONIA
Store #7134
825 Caledonia Rd.
Toronto, ON M6B 3X8
(416) 780-4730

Not sure where the OP is getting a price of $6.95. I'm at the store now looking at a price $9.60.

Edit: My mistake. They're in a separate bin away from the lightening area with the discounted price.

Cashier wouldn't let me use the Save On Energy coupons because they were already reduced in price??! Is that right? I thought these could be used regardless...

That's complete BS. It specifically states that the coupons can be used on sale-priced items.

Yet, Home Depot can refuse the coupons...just because? Then what's the point of the SaveOnEnergy coupons??

I paid $73.22 with tax for 10 A19 60w bulbs. Was looking to pay only ~$40.

I would go back to customer service with the coupons and get them to apply them

On that note, has any one seen these in Kingston? I haven't made my way to HD yet...

Already did. They refused.

Anyone know of a way I can still get the coupons applied? Is there some sort of central customer service department I can call aside from the one at the store?

Take your receipt to another store and try at customer service.

Service rep was about to process the SaveOnEnergy coupons, but she needed manager approval for the discount that as previously entered. Manager came, questioned the discount, called the Caledonia store, and then said she couldn't honour the coupons. I asked why, and she said "Sir, we can't give away a lightbulb for $1". I said that it wouldn't be $1, it would be $3.50. She said if I had issue to go back to the original store, but they already told her that they wouldn't do it. Then she shrugged her shoulders, didn't feel like talking anymore and just walked away from the conversation.

I guess this deal was definitely YMMV.

Also these are the older glass cree ones - I think comes with a 10yr warranty, NOT the new 4flow cheap plastic ones that only come with a 3 yr warranty.

I don't get why people are complaining? Coupons clearly state you cannot redeem with other discounts and products must be more than face value of the coupon.
