[Home Depot] Dewalt 20V MAX String Trimmer w/ 5ah battery and charger $219.12

Buy the Dewalt 14” string trimmer kit with a 5ah battery and charger:

https://www.homedepot.ca/product/dewalt ... 1001447100

Get a free 4ah battery:

https://www.homedepot.ca/product/dewalt ... 1001540105

On the receipt it comes up as trimmer being $219.12 and battery $79.88.

Return the free battery to get the deal. I believe this might only work if it was purchased in store and not online.

So far seems like a good trimmer but I don’t really have a big bush to trim.

Quite easily the best electric battery trimmer out there.

Sturdy, folds, powerful, near features, lasts long.

Price is good

Bought the Ryobi 40V Brushless few weeks ago at 159$. Before buying the Ryobi I was waiting for a deal like this on the dewalt. Anyone tried both and can compare?

Perfect timing.

He just did a review this weekend and rated DeWalt trimmer at the top.

He reviewed a 60v flexvolt model, very different then this posted 20v model.

I took a few minutes to watch the video, and was coming back to say just this.

Thanks. Still good info to know that DeWalt makes a quality unit. The power will be less, would they share similar construction?

Bought this last week.

Unit is quite heavy to use even for a short period of time. But it’s got great power and love that it folds up.

Agreed! I have the previous model and recently this year, it started vibrating like crazy. Does that happen if one of the spools runs out? Or something else?

Wish they would do a sale on the tool only. I already have two 10Ah batteries because I bought the lawnmower last year.

I bought this last week as well. Decided to get it shipped to my house as my in-store order got cancelled (because they didn't have the free battery...they magically lost 10 when I went in to pick up even though I received a ready to pickup email...).

Was able to price match tegstools (YMMV, maybe ontario only) to save almost $40...all in 283.xx

delivery got delayed, but should get it in the next 2-3 days.

price match with 10% price beat is YMMV...

In and out within 10 minutes, all for under $223.00 is not bad.
Not as hot but warm.

Price is meh, but since I have a few dewalt tools why not.
The best price for these was the makita blower, trimmer, 5.0 battery and charger for $120 last year which I have.
