[Home Depot] Dewalt 24" I-beam level $24.97, 48" $29.98, DCL040 20V Cordless flashlight bare tool $29

Spotted at the Home Depot Newmarket, ON in the morning.

Decided not to go with the 2020 in-store clearance post as these are not marked as clearance.

Happy hunting.

That's the regular price for the DeWalt flashlight, it's been that price for at least a year.

Hey, if it can be an “I-beam box level”, maybe it can be a plastic aluminum level too Face With Tears Of Joy

It's been this price as a "special buy" before, but it isn't the regular price for this item. Retail price is about $80 or $90. $29 is as low at it goes (not counting special one off manager's mark downs). I just pricematched this today at Lowes for another 10% off. I think it rang up at lowes for $79, but the shelf price was $89 at Lowes.

How much is the battery for the flash light?

If it’s more than the flashlight itself, then maybe a warm deal at best?

Says Utile in the product description, so it's a kind of plastic.

It doesn't, I think the poster's intent was to show that you can't trust any of the stupid marketing info they put out these days. The level would be either I - shaped beam or a box, it can't be both.

You are right, I used the wrong description in the title. Corrected. Thanks.

I have this light and it is great. Stable when you want it to stand on its own, but light enough to carry around. Not a great deal if you buy the battery, but if you have a dewalt 20v set, it makes a great rechargeable flashlight. I paid around this price for it, but if I saw it significantly cheaper, I would buy another. I paid $80 for my 18v gooseneck dewalt light and I still use it.
Milwaukee sells a much more powerful light for $300 +. My point - lights in these series are generally more expensive than stand alone rechargeable lights, but you don't have to buy another battery.
