[Home Depot] DEWALT Brushless Drill/Driver $127 | Husky 8 Gal Compressor $89 | RIDGID 60 Litre Wet Dry Vac $49

Saw this Special Buy / Clearance insert on Flipp for Home Depot. Ends Feb 22 but the items all look clearance so I bet the prices continue on until inventory lasts. Most items aren't online any more so YMMV in store.

RIDGID 60L Wet Dry Vac $49
Husky 8 gal compressor $89
Stanley Fatmax 25' tape measures 2-pack $19.98

Brown Hickory Laminate Flooring $1.58 per sq. ft.
Husky 27" 10-drawer chest and cabinet set $298
76L Storage Bin/Tote $4.96
4-pack Shoe Box $3.88

It's actually a great price on the tape measures. These are Stanley's Fatmaxes (which have nothing to do quality-wise compared to the crappy models that go on sale at CT) and they normally sell for ~24$ each. They're contractor quality and assembled in the USA. :)

Anyone wondering I have that shop vac and it's a good buy. Very good performance.

If you're not a professional then this set works great. The price is decent and if you need one it would do the job.

Ahh good point. Canadian Tire usually has the Tylon model for $6. Worth it for the heavy-duty contractor quality at $10 each then. Thanks for the feedback!

Doesnt stand out for me. Same power as my old 18v hammer drill dewalt and same as a modern fuel 12v drill. 149 on amazon. Ok for use around the house but if your going to build say a deck get the 224 set with impact and hammer drill.

350 ft lbs vs 500 ft lbs. impact and skill saw are my most useful hand tools. I even have impact ready drill bits for the impact driver.

This set appears to be dcd777. Yes you get 2 batteries but lower capacity 1.3amp batteries instead the the usaul 2.0amp slim batteries. It almost seems like yellow paint on a black and decker set. i wont expect the same dewalt quaility from this "special buy set" as as a normal set.

I thought the brushless is usually more expensive, isn't it?

This brushless model costs significantly less than Dewalt's other 2 brushless drills because It has a plastic chuck, made in China, comes with the cheap 1.3ah batteries (no fuel gauge), single mode light under chuck verus 3 mode base mount LED, less powerful, and lower speeds.

1.5ah batteries, not that it's much more.

Anyone buy the tape measures? If so are the FatMax tapes only in imperial or are there ones with metric that are also on sale?

I'm on my last 2 I bought from the Target clearance sale a few years ago.
