[Home Depot] DeWalt DCKO97D2 20v Blower and String Trimmer Combo Kit (battery/charger included) $298

Not a bad price since it comes with battery and charger. Good for light use. Includes free shipping (worked for me). 3 year warranty and I'd assume it's a never version of the trimmer. First gen had issues.

I was looking at this until I saw a blower on the US Home Depot site. It has really good power. I will wait until it comes to Canada or will drive down to get it.

Except it is 60v... most people have 20V tools and like to have all the same to interchange batteries...if I did not already have a Kobalt 40V trimmer I would jump on this...

Yeah, the batteries are the killer, they'll be fine for the Trimmer, but the Blower really needs 4aH or bigger battery to get any usable life out of it (and as it is will still only be 20 mins or so). You'll get less than 10 minutes of use on the blower with the battery in this kit.

Just a heads up, I picked up this kit off amazon back in 2017 and they are fantastic, throw a 5ah battery on and you can go for a long time. I would keep an eye out on amazon though because I got the combo for $219 at the time,

Dewalt 60v can be used on 20v tools.
"This kit also comes with a 20V/60V MAX* FLEXVOLT battery that can both power your line-up of 60V MAX* tools and equipment as well as your 20V MAX* tools and can be charged with your 20V MAX* chargers. "

Got the same deal and sold the blower for 100 bucks. Trimmer is great, throwed out my 2 cycle one after I used it.

Agreed. Trimmer is great but the blower is a little underpowered.

Goid deal. I paid 220 for trimmer alone last year.

Timmer is good. I have 2 gas trimmers. Only use the 20v now. If you do lots of heavy trimming you need a 4amp battery.

Looking for cheep blower now

Having a few Dewalt 20V items already, I looked out for a sale on this item all summer last year, and it's selling for the same price now as it did then. I bought a Ryobi trimmer (came with a 4A + battery and there was an offer for a free additional 4A + battery) for ~$198. Didn't open the Ryobi for weeks hoping this Dewalt kit would go on sale (never did, and in fact price went up to ~$348).
Almost too cheap to shop through RFD
