[Home Depot] Dewalt DCL040 20V Work Lamp $29 (YMMV - Weston/7)

Saw this on my lunch break, I would of bought one myself, but I already have a few Dewalt lights already.

Still shows regular price on the website, so YMMV on other locations, This was the Weston & 7 location around 1:00pm today. There is one on this rack in the tool department, and there are several more in the area at the front of the store.

Does it come with a battery or do you need a dewalt battery?

Tool only but it works with the 20V family.

This is a great accessory to the DeWALT family if you've already adopted into the 20V system. However, if you're an orphan, it's not worth buying a battery just for the light lol.

Isn't this the regular price for this item now? it's been $29 at my local Lowe's and home Depot for at least 3 months, I know cuz I bought one from each place.

It's only 110 lumens, not good.

RICHMOND HILL
On Monday I saw a stand with a box of them -a dozen or so.
Ontario Location: Red Maple Richmond hill

There are lots of reviews on line but I like mine.
It's compact and fits in my kit without taking too much real-estate. It's lightweight and runs for hours on a 4ahr battery.
Sits flat and adjustable head to aim the beam.
110 Lumens is good for inspection and focused task lighting.
It has hot center and some spillage.
Not designed to light up the entire room.

Depends on what you need it for. If you need to light up a large area, not good. If you need spot lighting, it's good. I recently used it to focus light on the rims of my cars as I did winter tire swaps. Worked great!

"Would've" is short for 'would have'. "Would of" makes no sense and is incorrect and annoying to read.

Ottawa
Last weekend I saw the whole display of these for $29 in the Baseline Rd store (Ottawa) in the same area as other promotional tools for the holidays. Looks like it's going to be the new regular price. Noticed the 110 lumens and passed.
