[Home Depot] Emerson Sensi smart thermostat 6.13

*************
Update: seems like some folks are able to get this for $6.13 after tax.

******
There's a promotion at HD for the Emerson Sensi smart thermostat from $129 down to $109. Got $75 enbridge rebate and stacked with 25% in-store energy rebate. comes up to $13.42 after tax.

Probably not as fancy as Nest or ecobee, but cant beat $13.

Any one using this? How does it compare to ecobee and nest? Any significant downside?

I have been using one for about 6 months.... Dead easy to install and use. Doesn't have built in occupancy sensors or anything like that but it can be automated from other platforms like home assistant.

I'm very happy with mine.

It's a in-store promo for 25% off. not an actual coupon

I have one installed without C wire. I use eneloops and they seem to last forever. I replace them when theyre at 3 bars out of five. But I only use mine for heat. There's no A/C unit linked... Very basic wifi enabled themostat that makes easy programing from you phone instead of a small screen. Homekit compatible and can pus notifications when humidity is high, etc...

Nope, did not need a C-wire at all. This thing is incredibly reliable, simple to use and install... If I can put it in myself, anybody can.

Sometimes less is more even if it's not as pretty as competitors priced three times as much.

Not sure why OP only got $25 energy saving discount. 25% off the $109.99 for me.

I wanted the Honeywell Wi-Fi on special for $99.99, but enbridge discount didn’t get accepted. Well I’m happy with a $11 thermostat

But why does your receipt show a $25 discount then instead of 25% off?
The first rule of RFD is, you do not talk about RFD.
