I thought this was some sort of audiophile generator by FURMAN.
Not sure what I was thinking, because that would make absolutely no sense lol.

Pretty impressed by Firman customer service. I received a generator with damaged front panel from homedepot. After registering the generator contacting them they overnighted a brand new generator.

And let you keep the old one?

Decent price but those looking for something bigger and heavier, costco occasionally has the 3100w invert on sale for 599.

They have a new dual fuel one for 999. I wouldve bought that one if I didn't already own the 3100w gas version.

What's the other fuel? Diseil?

I would prefer the gas one you have for half the price ...

How much for installation?

Just a note, the 3100w version is a lot heavier. I can manhandle this one no problem, the 3100w one is almost 100lbs dry. You really have to lift with your legs :) Ok if you can just roll it around, but something to consider if you like carrying in your trailer/SUV.

For this size(3100W), the duel fuel version really only makes sense for people with a camper that want to run their AC quietly, and already have propane on board.

I was considering a larger duel fuel version (non-inverter) version as a poor man's standby generator. With a remote control option, and a Generlink, you could get close to the functionality of a standby, and a significant savings. Also a lot easier to service...
