Was hoping the 7 1/4" circular saw is part of the deal :(

FYI they had this same sale on black Friday last year but for $200 and with different tools. I got the 5ah battery and charger, plus angle grinder. Then on boxing day, they had $99 bare tools so I got the 6.5" circular saw.

Edit: Sorry I misread...the $200 deal did not come with a 2ah battery...only 5ah. So this deal has an additional battery, but tool selection is not as good.

It depends on which tool you get since they have different MSRPs. In the last thread about this deal somebody had made a spreadsheet calculating all this.

these have been on since the start of the month

Anyway, the point of me saying this is that stock usually goes quick on these promos so it is sometimes a struggle to find both items in stock at the same store, so make sure you check stocktrack before you go.

This would be way better with an impact driver or drill as the free tool.

The stock on this deal is a bit better. The one with the 6/8 battery and the impact wrench and angle grinder as tool options....unfortunately the stock on the battery kits was terrible and it got ended early because of it (from the looks of it). Which is unfortunate because I was intending to make some purchases between that one and the 4AH batteries on the M12 deals (which also suffered the same shortage/stock limitations). But that's just a lesson to myself to jump on it earlier.

yep, bought a bunch of stuff at the start of the month no problem. Decided to pick up the sander yesterday and almost no store had both the battery and the sander in stock. had to drive 40 minutes to the closest HD that had it. Most places only have a handful of the battery kits left in stock.
