Sometimes I wonder if someone from HD or Ryobi posts such elaborate content on RFD for promotion.

Good deals though!

Where is that promo stated? Or you just go to checkout with the items and the battery goes for free?

This is just a really impressive post. I appreciate the effort and how little work I need to do to look at the deals

Great post, thanks! I just wish the 2 tools I'm interested in were included, the ratchet and 7 1/4" brushless circular saw.

I am going to check later today if this promo will stack with the 20% off barcode from the Ryobi days promo.

EDIT** So the promo and the return worked at the Winnipeg Polo Park for the Brad nailer but the 20% off coupon did not stack. I also tried to buy the angle grinder but their system wasn't updated so the manager had to override so i didn't complete that purchase.

I think the code is blocked now but report back if it works. Would make this hotter!

This community is better known in the retail space (around the world even) than most people realize!

I've posted once before about how my email address is strikingly similar to my RFD name, and I quite regularly get emails from Chinese companies (mostly Amazon sellers) wanting to pay me to talk about their products here. RFD mods told me that these dirty companies basically just pull the RFD username list and mass email those usernames using all the common email domains (gmail, outlook, hotmail, etc.) to see who bites. I see a lot those company names mentioned here often, so honestly, I think this is happening more than you or I would like to believe. People will do anything for a few bucks.

Here's the plot twist. What if HD fixed/changed it so that the free item has no return value anymore and you have to return all or nothing? That would be an interesting turn of events. Not saying they did, but just saying what-if. :)

Just got this in store. The promo and return values did not work. They had to override it and u can't get the battery return value.

The amount refunded to you if you return the items separately, as opposed to returning the battery kit and tool entirely.

Oh man, I wish I was paid for that!

I am a Ridgid fan and they have a promo... when I saw that Ryobi does as well, I wrote this post.

It takes me about 2 minutes to write a post like this one because I wrote a tool to get the products/links, etc so I prefer to share a good post then a sketchy one where people ask millions of questions.

heymanwuzup wrote: Oh ok thanks. But can you actually go back to HD with the receipt of these two items, and return one of the two items?
Historically you could. Whether HD changed anything in light of the Ryobi coupon fiasco remains to be seen. But for the time being, we are basing these deals on the assumption that you can return the tool or starter kit.

However, if you needed both the tool and battery kit, then it's a deal regardless.
