[Home Depot] HD - Philips Hue Zigbee + Bluetooth 4-pack A19 soft white bulbs - 25.98$ - YMMV

Went to Home Depot to pick up the Peanuts Christmas tree from another thread and came across this 4-pack of Philips Hue Zigbee + Bluetooth A19 soft white dimmable bulbs for 25.98$.

Stocktrack has got the price wrong at 64.99$; it scanned at 25.98$.

https://stocktrack.ca/?s=hd&sku=1001385677

They also had some individual A19 bulbs at 7.98$ which may or may not have been RGB. I had a need for exactly 4 bulbs, so I took the 4-pack at for 6 bucks less since RGB is not important to me. This was all at the Anjou HD store.

There was one 4-pack left in the liquidation centre and a bunch of single units left in the Anjou store.

Not sure if this is nationwide, so YMMV.

I ended up returning another brand of smart bulb because of one reason - if someone were to turn off the switch (or a power outage), one would have to setup the bulb again.

Does anyone know if Philips bulbs would also require that?

No, but the bulbs will turn on automatically after a power outage, which is the only gripe. Otherwise, Philips Hue is great

I have colored bulbs with hub. Turning off with switch that cuts power will lose the color settings and brightness. However I do not need to redo the pairing process if that's what your concerned about

I just updated my bulb's firmware, out of the box. There is now a setting to allow for it to keep the last state after a power outage.

Looks like Brampton has "lots" of stock with 9x 4-packs in stock. If anyone passes by, it would be awesome if you could report back if the liquidation price is in all stores.

They've had this pricing for about a month now. See the OG thread.

Also, I'm not sure if the Stocktrack link is wrong, or HD has a typo in their description, but the 4-pack that OP bought for $26 is Hue White (not tunable temperature, only soft white @2700K), which is different from White Ambiance (tunable white temperature). I know because I bought the same set that OP posted based on the SKU number on the receipt.

The A19 bulbs that are $8 should be soft white @2700K and not tunable. The White & Colour Ambiance bulbs are $30 if I remember correctly.

None in — but did find a couple clearance hue bulbs (the filament ones, 046677551810) for $11. Also a bunch of Wiz smart bulbs (046677556044) for $5.

Note: they were in the lighting section (with the chandeliers) and not with the other smart bulbs.

This isn’t a new deal. Homedepot has had the old stock marked down for a almost a month now. The 60w bulbs are discontinued as Philips replaced them with 75w variants. Some other products in the hue line are also being updated and can be found on clearance.

It’s a hot deal if you’re adding to your existing hue setup. If you’re just starting out it might be worth getting the newer bulbs.

I added them directly to my Home Assistant setup, with no other Hue equipment. To me, they're just cheap ZigBee bulbs. The Bluetooth connectivity is a bonus, but it requires the Phillips app.

I don't know how I missed this. I did search before posting. Thanks for the link!

Mods: could we maybe merge the threads?

Went to all three home depots in Quebec city area. The first one had some boxes for 25.98$. In the other one, it was only 19.50$. Got a few boxes, enough to change all bulbs on the house. There were a lot of hue products in the clearance section!

Picture of all the clearance items on the first store and the receipt from the second store!
