I have the 40v ryobi trimmer that was 138 the other week, i find it very awkward to use compared to a regular trimmer.
Which trimmer was on sale for that price?

It was "temporarily unavailable" yesterday, then somehow I was able to add it to cart and check out with PayPal. Got a UPS tracking number an hour ago.

Lucky you - I've been trying to buy it for quite some time now.

$10 flashlight can serve as the battery interface.
Reporting back: indeed, Ryobi and Ridgid are "dumb" tools, looks like there's no handshake / authentication between the tool and the battery. A couple of connectors, some 16 AWG wire, and 5 min of soldering later the trimmer runs off a Ridgid battery. Just did the whole yard, the 4 Ah battery is still half full.

Batteries are tiny P102, but better deal than 2x$29 just for the batteries
Is this still $88? It’s $139 now
