Not sure if it was just the Westend store in Edmonton but I got this for 134.00 + gst. Been looking at it for months. Was first elated I had found one NIB on Kijiji hours earlier only to be disappointed it had been sold ...for 150. Just happened to be there grabbing the small cordless Rigid/Ryobi vacuum and they had no more in stock but the fine gent sold me the display unit. Now if i can get the free stand they are now offering I literally am getting them both for free. Image
Now if I could just find one of these locally I'll be a happy guy lol.

been looking for batteries now.

is that thebest value ? https://www.homedepot.ca/product/ryobi- ... 1001319505

I see cheapest is https://www.homedepot.ca/product/ryobi- ... 1001214560 , but for 10$ per 2A, maybe it's worth it.

You need 2 batteries for that mitre saw.

gona be disappointing if it's tool + 3.0 ah/charger combo.

In the states it's the 3.0/6.0/charger + tool combo instead, much better deal
Is this going on right now? Don't see any mention of this online

Idk why but they seem to hide/not push that 6ah deal. Considering one 6ah is like 150 and you can get two for 170, it's no brainer for me. I bought 4 packs

There's a tool + battery/charger promotion starting on the 29th but no details yet.

US promotions for comparison

It depends. Sales tax are mostly 8% ish so total would be 193$ US -> 263$ CAD (1.36 used here). This would be Charger + 3AH + 6AH and 1 tool (example JobMax).

Here the JobMax is 139$ so if you get 1 Charger, 3AH + Tool = 160$ (including taxes assuming 15% in Quebec). This mean your extra 6AH in the US is costing you an additional 100$

The 9's are really heavy. The 6's aren't light either but I found the 9's to be a bit too much bulk and weight wise. After holding a drill and a chainsaw above my head all day yesterday I'm glad I didn't have the 9's. The 6's seem to be a happy medium=ish for power vs weight "annoyance"

I suppose it depends on what you need but $100 for a 6.0 ah battery with LSa is worth it.
