just a note for guys drooling over the Dewalt chests, they don't really hold that much. I have a 27" Husky top and bottom combo with a million drawers, but it all barely fits into the 40" cabinet. the top is dominated by the lid area and are barely any drawers on it.

the bottom cabinets are a little better, but the bottom 2 deep cabinets take up a lot of space. id rather have more smaller drawers, but that's personal preference. now i can fit a welding mask in the bottom tho.

the best thing is the soft self close feature.

total cabinet height is 77" with the lid open.

I do love the top lid storage area as i use it as a desk and storage for my entertainment. speakers/tablet/phone. its has the built in power strip with 2 USBs.

the Husky tool chests have a small 1/2" lip that stabs you in the elbows, while the Dewalt is flat (same as Milwaukee). the overall metal is thicker than Husky chests. the matte wrinkle finish paint hides finger prints well, but the yellow really shows off grease.

the locks are laughable though, basically same as Husky (5 pin) but with 1 extra pin. Not saying much as all tool chests basically use the same lock set design. I actually swapped locks with my old Husky chest to have matching locks, but found the upper locks to be different. NOTE: the first letter in the lock model is the style of key it uses. So an "A" key will slide into any "A" lock, but not a "B". if you have 2 different A's , you may be able to reconfigure the cylinders to match and make your life easier. mine were A20 and A24. the A24 was reconfigured by swapping the first two pins closest to the key hole.

Calgary Home Depots have serious discounts on mini fridges (Beacon Hill has a massive stock from the end of last year they're trying to clear), some 4-5 cu ft brand names that normally retail for high 200's to 300's going for 100-120. Needed one for the computer room, after much price comparing and review checking on my phone in front of the sales lady, it was evident these are good deals. There were some other good deals on Milwaukee power tools, but few left. The only annoying thing is their clearances are spread throughout the warehouse rather than centralized.

I picked up the Milwaukee One-Key compact impact wrench kit 2759B-22 from the Coquitlam store for $100, it came with 2 batteries. It was either a demo or return as the charger wasn’t neatly tied up in the case, but tested it all out and it seems fine.

There was also a Milwaukee brushless impact driver kit for $60 that I think the other guy at the clearance table took.
