I ordered 1 at l'Acadie. Received an email that the order was ready for pickup. Went there only to find that the item was out-of-stock. If they are out of stock, they should send an email saying so and cancelling the order. But saying it's actually ready for pickup when it's out-of-stock is incredibly frustrating - particularly with all the construction and traffic jams in the area.
They should take example from Vaudreuil... They call you, tell you it's OOS and then cancel the order.

Was at the Markham North location and they had several Ridgid products on clearance. These included the hammer/drill combo, and brushless circular saw, reciprocating saw and grinder.

Will snag one or two of those dollies later. The M18 Fuel Circular saw is tempting, probably should wait for it to drop more.

St. Albert, AB Home depot

They have SKILSAW 13 Amp Reciprocating Saw for $43.60 (reg $109). Seems like a decent saw especially for the price. Skilsaw has a 180 day warranty  but it is something. It was behind the contractor desk area. Had about 10 left. Also in the same area they had Makita 5-inch Random Orbit Sander for $48 (reg $88) had about 5 left. Pretty good reviews. Other saws with 13 amps are going over $200.

For the YEG area it looks like St. albert and the south HD (2020-101 Street N.W., Edmonton, AB, T6N 1J2) have stock.

Side note: I was walking by the manager today talking to a customer and he said they don't price match other HD, says that they would then have to beat the price by 10%. I'm pretty sure he's full of it and just didnt want to go with the lower price of another store, but has anyone ever heard of this?

I hit up 3 HD's this weekend.

Cornwall didn't have much of anything in terms of tools. Their "clearance" items were 10-15% off.

Vaudreuil, didn't have too much either, but in front of aisle 20 they had some demo units for sale. A couple Ridgid/Ryobi power tools. I was in a rush because they were closing so I didn't take pics. I remember a Ryobi 18V hammer drill for $30 (marked down from $100). They also had some Makita tool stands.

Finally, I went to Pointe-Claire, which had some interesting finds:
Freud edge trimming router bit for $9. (hanging on a post in one of the tool aisles)
Ridgid drywall screwdriver for $32.
Husky LED worklights (misc prices) (near the escalators)
Steel toe rubbers for $15 (back of the store, near the lighting)
Ridgid 18V brushless circular saw for $140 (not the best price, but someone above was asking)

[edit]
I thought people might want to know the different prices of the worklights (hard to see in pics):
31.78 1500 lumen
34.48 2500 lumen
42.48 3500 lumen
39.92 1500 lumen w/ battery
They also had the stand with lights for around $110, if I'm not mistaken. Can't remember what was priced at 79.50, maybe one of the smaller stands.

That 13 Amp Skillsaw reciprocating saw sounds like a steal at $43.60!

May not last though at this price. You could buy now and go for the price adjustment if it goes down. If it does not go down you could return it if unused.

I thought so. I needed a new one and for that price why not.

I had to do a double take at checkout because there were Milwaukee tool bags above the saws so I'm like yeah 43 for a tool bag makes sense lol.

Nice find. That’s the Gen 1 tho, so they might clear it further

Call the location. This doesn’t even show up in their inventory checker. Someone has to do physical check

They are, but the Gen2 that is replacing them is 4.5lbs heavier!

I'm sticking with Gen1, don't want the unnecessary extra weight. Otherwise I'd just use my corded SkilSaw wormdrive.

Not quite sure if this is considered clearance or not, but I picked this up for $29.88 today in Sudbury:

Milwaukee Tool Shockwave Impact Duty Driver Bit Set (104-Piece)

Stocktrack.ca suggests that there aren't many around unfortunately.

Not sure if this is a good deal or not but I did see a 70 piece set right beside this one for $39.98 so can't be that bad of a deal, right?
